It feels like it has been ages since I've seen Zadie Marie! She's grown so much since our regular days of playdates (which are on hiatus for the summer). She's still got the same great smile, as seen below from one of our April playdates!
Reuben and Alicia opened up their backyard and ping-pong table to us and many others for sublime afternoon of BBQing and lobing plastic balls over tiny nets.
A good time was had by all and the men folk took their tasks seriously. 
Reuben has a laid back grillin' nature that really gets results. His grill is no joke. It brings the fire! And good food!
Patrick turns out to be a adept table tennis player. He's always said his sister, Laura got the athletic genes but clearly he's not lacking either. He held his own against ALL of Reuben's family (who are paddle ninjas over many, many generations) until being undone by Reuben's mom. Her cunning grace proved superior over Patrick's spunky brawn.
