We had many folks to see. Starting off with Christmas morning at Bryan, Susan, Carter and Mason's place. Grammy came up to sleep over, as not to miss Santa's arrival. The morning was certainly the stuff of dreams.

The magic of presents was not lost on this little guy. Alston caught on pretty quickly with a bit of encouragement.
A great day was had by all. (Including a fabulous beef tenderloin feast with all the trimming! And yes, there were multiple rounds of desserts served ALL day!!!)

Then off for more celebrating with the Kavanaghs and Moulthrops! First to Delaware and then on to Philly and let's not leave out Mechanicsburg!
Patrick was thrilled to be reunited with his Wendy's hat, which was wrapped up as special Christmas gift from his parents. Here he is retelling the glory of earning employee of the month three times!

This year Alston was really able to enjoy all the quality time with all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Here are some cute shots of Alston in his freshly gifted Christmas outfit at Aunt Bonnie's house!! (Many thanks to the Grandyparents!) It was wonderful to catch-up with all the extended Kavanagh family. Wish we could do it more often. (Doesn't Aunt Bonnie's tree look beautiful!) I think lower photo by the tree is destined to be photo album heirloom classic.

Aunt Laura was in top form....building numerous 3D puzzles and hosting music lessons to boot!
Time flies fast....and really, there is never enough time when you're with loved ones. Many thanks to the Kavanaghs and Moulthrops for hosting us on our journeys!
Back to the Sizemore's in MD in time for Patrick's birthday and new year's eve. Susan and Bryan host a birthday dinner...Maryland style. YES, that means CRABCAKES! yummmy!Susan, the boys and I worked up a birthday cake. Here is Mason focusing all his cake artistry in the masterpiece.
I think he's wishing that he wasn't turning 128???
mmm, special new year's eve strawberry cocktails! Happy 2010!Grammy gets the super babysitter award for agreeing to babysit ALL three of her grandsons at once! I think she might be deserving of a gold metal or purple heart or something. She's awesome and beautiful!
This freed up the "parents" to go on our first ever double date with Bryan and Susan! Fancy cocktails, good food...a perfect date!
Really, Patrick and I have a lot to be thankful for. We were able to get 3 baby-free occasions in our trip, as the Grandyparents and Unkle Bryan and Aunt Susan watch Alston on seperate occasions too! And even beyond that, all the hospitality of everyone is just so kind. Thank you, Thank you. I'd also like to send a special shot out to Bryan and Susan for lending us their car for our journeys. It was a huge life (and $$$)saver. It was supremely appreciated!
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and has a healthy, fun-filled 2010!
