The Train of Lights

This year Santa's "pickle present" to our family was a ride on the Train of Lights! So, we put on our warm layers for a special night time ride on this festive holiday train. The train runs between Fremont and Sunol. All the train cars are decorate with lights inside and out! Each is decorated a little different and you can wander up and down the train checking out the lights and sipping hot cocoa to warm yourself. Alston still refuses to drink hot cocoa but boy did he like the accompanying cookies (from our previous baking session)!

 I liked the outdoor cars best, as you can see the train cars lit up coming around the bend.

 We'll definitely be back next year!!
