Today, Alston had his very first picnic! The extraordinary 70 degree weather inspired us to grab a few friends and head to Tilden Park to enjoy a bit of time outside. We are extremely lucky to be able to do this in the middle of the winter. Pretty much this is why we live here...and put up w/ the cost of living here.
Patrick continues to wow Alston with songs and goofy antics that produce many over sized smiles.
Alston is inspired by one year old friend, Isaac (who is very mature with his stylish animal hat and grown-up biscuit).

My friend and Isaac's mom, Marissa steels a kiss. In deed, we all enjoyed the sunshine, fun, friends and even a few rounds of a ring toss game. The other part of today that was awesome was family nap time!!! We must have all been wiped out from the days festivities including Alston! The 3 of us managed to fit in the most blissful afternoon nap I've had in a long time. What a truly great day.
