In honor of our friend, Kate hitting her first big design deadline for her upcoming book(YES, nationally released book, WooohOOO!! keep you posted!)... we spent a lazy non-designing afternoon with her. We started with Punjabi Burritos in Mill Valley. Kate and I both opted for the curried chicken burrito but there are LOTS of options. The tamarind sauce truly makes it. for me by adding a little sweet pockets into the curry goodness. Kate's husband usually opts for the crab, pumpkin curry burrito...if they have it. I also HIGHLY recommend washing it all down with the rose lassi!!
After stuffing ourselves, we rolled over to Cronkite beach to laze off our burritos. We staked out a spot next to a small 2 to 3 foot deep gulley dug into the sand previously. Alston delighted in rolling about in it or repetitively climbing in and out of it. He even naively attempted to "hug" the sand by leaning his head into the sand as if it were a loved person.
Sand + Sunshine + Friend x 2 Punjabi burritos = Afternoon Well Spent!
