Memorial Day Weekend = Celebrating Our Service Men AND Aunt Laura!

We were quite lucky to have multiple occasions to hang with Aunt Laura this past weekend. Starting with a dinner at our place and some on the spot Alston watching while we hit a party in our hood. (Thanks again Aunt Laura and Aunt Emily!!!)

Follow by a Memorial Day late afternoon of "Hot Dogs in the Fog" hosted at Laura's new apartment in SF. This place is much larger than the last and even boast a back yard! Perfect for grillin' and hanging out!

Here is a shot that shows the fog rolling in. Laura's place is up on a hill in the "Sunset" district, so fog is a regular part of life!


The other exciting news is Laura recently acquired a piano! It now sits in what use to be the formal dining room of their apartment. This spot could not be more perfect with the floral wallpaper and chandelier above (not pictured). So great! And the added bonus of finding such a beautiful bench to round it all out.

I also loved seeing the addition of this pillow to their living room. Patrick/Laura's mom made this pillow from some material that Laura brought back from Mali. So, it was heart warming to see it prominently displayed!
