Return to the Pumpkin Patch!!!

And return of the Guest Blogger: Patrick, a.k.a. GaGa
Our friend Archie was celebrating his birthday in the world's largest corn maze at Cool Patch Pumpkins in Dixon, CA. Thea was teaching a class at CCA, so I packed Alston in the car and he napped on the drive there.
It was a bit apocalyptic and threatening rain when we arrived. Our friends had already disappeared into the 62-acre corn maze and Alston and I briefly ventured into that muddy labyrinth before realizing we might never get out. So instead we wandered through the rows of pumpkins and found a tractor which was quite popular.

They also had a village of tiny houses that Alston enjoyed exploring.

Eventually, we met up with our friends Kate and Paul who had survived the corn maze. Alston was excited to show them his tractor.
Just as we were ready to leave, Archie, R and friends emerged from the corn, having completed the entire maze. Fortunately, we got some of the delicious birthday pumpkin pie, but unfortunately my camera battery had died by then... so no documentation.

Again, it has been a pleasure guest blogging here. Returning you to regular blog programming. -- GaGa
