Pumpkin, Pumpkin!

We picked a small family farm in Petaluma this year for out pumpkin picking! And the Peterson Farm delivered beautiful patches of pumpkins without feeling overwhelmed by too much field or too many pumpkin peepers! Good old fashion fun tromping through dirt and vines to find a perfect pumpkin. One of our best patches we've found yet! We'll be back next year!

Alston was a little camera shy on this trip and actually not as EXCITED about pumpkin hunting as I was or would have wished him to be! Though he was pretty into 2 pumpkins that he found that were infested with beetles (likely rotten pumpkins - see 2nd picture down). He just loved watching the beetles and poking at them. We had a hard time pulling him away from that...
