Eating Well!

My appetite is definitely back in action. Patrick has been a great AM chef most mornings.

This particular morning's feast was inspired by our neighbor friend Liam (currently living in Dubai - see link to his blog, Dubide to the left). Liam introduced us to the concept of salami eggs. Sound a bit odd but really quite delicious. Patrick added some fresh basil to really push his culinary masterpiece.

We have also had many superlative meals delivered. We've really been enjoying the social aspect of this delivery service, many of which we've convinced to join us for dinner. Here is the run down:

Amy and her son, Cosmo brought Zachary's delicious deep dish pizza!

Our friend Raven, who is studying to be a midwife has been a huge resource and support for me. Loaning me books and her brain! I can't thank her enough for inspiring me to have a natural birth and giving me some tools to work with. On top of these skills - turns out she's an great cook too! Her Lebanese lamb stew w/ yogurt cucumber chickpea salad was divine!

Suzi read my mind and brought an afternoon snack of hazelnut and lemon wafer cookies with a side of raspberries!

Rivkah, Kyle and Isa represented with a super fresh fruit salad with a medley of grapes, apples, plums, strawberries and the ever coveted pomegranate seeds for that extra crunch.

When Patty says she's bring dinner she really BRINGS IT! We feasted well (and are STILL) on the roasted chicken, salad and other trimmings that arrived with this lovely lady.

Michael and Joseph, Alston's fairy godmothers came bearing the gift of Zante's pizza and salad. This pizza is the only true reason Patrick stays in the Bay Area.

Sadly, we missed our photo opt w/ Jenifer. So, I've subbed in this photo of her (on the right) and the other artist collective partners known as the Mail Order Brides. Jenifer dropped in w/ a delightful Indian masala dish. Yummers!

As you can see, I'm not going to be loosing my pregnancy weight anytime soon!!
